• Baiada Riverina is a production consisting of 25 farms
• My responsibilities include maintaining 400kms of roads, poultry sheds and construction of loading pads
• Daily maintenance and operation of machinery; grader, rollers (x3), dozer, telehandler, 2 tractors, 4-HR trucks - Conducting prestart checks, changing filters/lubricants/greasing
• Recording and reporting hazards and issues to head department, as well as repairing minor mechanical issues, tagging out of machinery if necessary and assisting contractors to keep a safe workplace.
• Working efficiently without supervision and ensuring upkeep of training and competency of other operators.
• Ensured compliance with industry regulations by following established guidelines for safe machinery operation at all times.
• Reduced downtime by promptly troubleshooting and resolving machinery issues.
• Established a reputation for reliability by consistently arriving on time, maintaining high attendance levels, and displaying a strong work ethic throughout the duration of employment as a Machinery Operator.

During this period, I contributed to the cultural development and support program for aboriginal youth

• Each term, consisted of working with groups of 14 boys as a peer support worker, providing them with opportunities to explore their cultural heritage and develop team building and leadership skills.
• Promoted a safe, inclusive environment by establishing clear expectations and reinforcing positive behaviors among participants.
• Completed necessary reports and documentation to maintain thorough, accurate case records.
• Provided guidance and advice to youth, supporting navigation of diverse personal and social issues.
