- As an Aged Care Work Experience Student, I gained substantial experience in the following:• Helping residents move in and out of their beds, showers, wheelchairs and assisting with mobility aids. Reporting any unusual circumstances in the residents’ condition or environment. Fostering a professional relationship with residents and their families, as well as co-workers. Encouraging residents to join in activities. Actively identifying where additional support is needed for residents and going out of my way to do so.
