I am currently working for Newmont Boddington Gold as Senior Mine Planning Engineer. The main responsibilities are Reserve Resource Reporting that includes pit optimization, pit designing, reserve and resource estimation and writing related reports. The role is also responsible for strategic planning for pit expansion, waste dump expansion and concurrent reclamation. Before moved to Newmont Boddington Gold I worked for MMG Sepon in Laos (originally Lane Xang Minerals Limited, Oxiana) for 5 years from 2006 to 2011 with last position as Principal Mining Engineer. The main task was to lead and coordinate the mining engineering team to work on mine planning tasks such as pit optimization, pit design, pit infrastructures design, mine schedule, mining budget and pit expansion planning. I worked for Newmont Nusa Tenggara Batu Hijau for 5 years from 2001 to 2006. I had been in several roles starting as a production engineer and my last position was Senior Specialist Engineer. My main job was to work with short term section in providing high quality service to operation. As a Drill and Blast Engineer, I was also involved in mine to mill through put improvement project which focused on blast fragmentation and material blending. I spent my first 4.5 years worked for Newmont Minahasa Raya Sulawesi since May 1997 until November 2001. I started as fresh graduate engineer and had been rotated to some others roles during the period.
