• As a CNS Child & Family Health Nurse i work with families and see infants from 0-4 years
• The role includes offering and attending UHHV Universal Health Home Visiting and subsequent clinic visits to all mothers
• Give breastfeeding support and assist with feeding issues
• The service offer a Father Inclusive practice
• By following a Family Partnership model of care, this is to provide best practice and use evidence based tools
• The service offer breastfeeding support and developmental checks as per PHR Personal Health Record
• I work at a senior level and in my role as CNS and have completed my IBCLCE -International Board of Lactation Consultants Exam
• I am a qualified COS Circle of Security group facilitator-this is an accredited Parenting Training for attachment based parenting to improve relationships within the family
• Attend SafeStart meeting to provide emotional supports to families
• I co share facilitating New Mother s Groups
• I work as a member of a multidisciplinary team and work and refer to allied health and medical practitioners
• Also i educate new staff and mentor students.

• Developed strong rapport with patients through active listening skills that facilitated open communication about concerns or anxieties related to pregnancy or childbirth experience.
• Supported birthing partners in their roles by providing education on pregnancy, labor, and newborn care.
