  • Responsibilities included: interviewing interstate and international travellers and diplomats while entering survey responses into ACT Government database; accessing, editing, and creating patient records and booking procedures; thorough and precise data entry; following due process of high-risk and urgent situations that may develop ad hoc; assessing travellers’ mental wellbeing and providing support when relevant; keeping up to date with latest ACT Health alerts and directorates, and interpreting their contexts appropriately; maintaining knowledge of safety practices.
  • Position provided a strong foundation for high-volume, high-risk project management and support, giving the opportunity to work as part of a team with personalised daily responsibilities. Position also provided unique experience in implementing fluctuating government practices and explaining these processes to clients.

  • Responsibilities included: greeting visitors; answering questions on the attraction and historical significance of the site; providing directions; suggesting routes through the centre and forest reserve.
  • Position allowed for continued experience in balancing shareholder and public expectations in a public heritage site, while offering an educational and comfortable experience to first-time and seasoned visitors alike. I continue to collaborate with the Visitor Experience Manager to produce material based on the medieval history of the site and its connection to the Robin Hood tradition for future publication.
