- As a Senior Project Manager attached to the ICT Infrastructure division, I have successfully managed a variety of multiple ICT infrastructure projects, some from concept to hand-over
- Key Responsibilities
- End to end project management using PMBOK and PRINCE2 methodology involving various types and levels of access to technologies, products and services
- Planned and organised project activity, communication, quality management, facilitation, supplier/customer liaison, risk analysis and cost management
- Meet project deadlines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and ensure that each project is delivered within budget and deadline without compromising quality
- Manage project phases including tendering and procurement; design coordination; vendor liaison; contract management; commissioning and handover
- Contribute to the development of IT/information management policies and procedures
- Some of the projects I have successfully completed from the inception to the completion are listed below;
- Data Centre Asset Replacement: While maintaining ongoing operations, I led the replacement of outdated and unsupported hardware assets in two DHS Data Centres, involving complex service migrations techniques to minimise the impact to the DHS customers
- During this project I worked closely with the Data Network Team and managed budget of over $ 1 M;
- EDirectory Replacement: Migrated Novell eDirectory services underpinning DHS online services to a new IBM secure directory services (ISDS) (a 12-month project)
- Migrated myGov services: Provided at DHS myGov Shopfronts (Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Albury)
- The project has to be planned to migrate all myGov services from Telstra to a DHS managed environment within a short time frame due to termination of the Telstra contact
- During this project I negotiated important project requirements with Telstra and worked closely with business counterparts;
- Customer Wi-Fi rollout: Successfully implemented Customer Wi-Fi solution for 30 DHS Customer Service Centres including 5 myGov shopfronts
