  • Achievements: As one of the strategic projects as per the state of Qatar National Irrigation Strategy, the D-Line TSE pumping station is designed to supply several farms with TSE water through pumping approx. 1600 LPS of TSE water along a 64 KM force main.
  • Project was delivered with very minimum resources because of proper planning of resources.
  • It was challenging to minimize the delays due to the global COVID-19 Pandemic and disturbance in the global supply chain, however the delivery of major equipment including MV-VFD, pumps and surge suppression system was delivered on time.
  • Several site instructions were received from due to efficient change management process implementation.

  • The challenge in this job was to manage the resources to complete the scope of work in various locations in parallel and interfacing with Operating companies.
  • As all the seventeen stations were live, work had to be executed with minimum shut-down requirements, proper planning and effective installation methods were implemented to make sure that the operation of these stations is not affected during construction works.

  • Achievements: Design optimization of flowmeters chambers to pre-cast chambers instead of cast in situ had saved time and cost.
  • Managing subcontractors (Civil works, earthing systems work…etc.) to deliver the project on time and according to project specifications.
  • I have managed as well to overcome the logistics challenges after the blockade on Qatar and found alternatives quickly to the approved vendors from UAE/KSA, finding alternative modes /routes of shipments so they can arrive on time.
  • The project was delivered on time and below budget.

  • Achievements: It was a fast-track project and the aim of End-User was to complete the refurbishment works and to upgrade the plant capacity from 85,000 m3/day to 120,000 m3/day before the rainy season in January.
  • I have managed to lead the team to upgrade the capacity as required before the rainy season.
  • I have managed to put a complete plan for the shipping, Installation, start up and commissioning the plant to make that target achievable and we had successfully upgraded the capacity as required on time, within budget and with the minimum amount of partial shutdown time.
