Yenny Nguyen

• During first extended holiday in Australia, I chose to join DC's Café at Forest Lake Shopping Centre, where I could earn extra income while engaging with the local community. The café is a popular gathering spot for many older individuals, who come daily to socialize over coffee. From very first visit, I was drawn to the welcoming atmosphere and felt inspired to become a part of the team, contributing to creating a joyful environment for the elderly patrons who frequent the café.

I volunteered at a local kindergarten to gain experience and engage with the community. Continued volunteering there until first degree graduation.
