Worked with the gastroenterology department, aiding their day-to-day operations. Helped specifically with contract care team, referring patients care to other hospitals to expedite their procedures. The job encompasses me contacting patients on a daily basis, following through their referral process and following up with other organisations for relevant documentations needed. Worked with different groups of people, including liaison nurses and gastroenterologist and colorectal department consultants. I worked efficiently, especially in the high pressure and high paced environment.

During the process, I gained deep insight into medical conditions that patients suffer from, resulting in the need to have gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures. Ensured patients safety by ensuring highly accurate information is provided to the endoscopist.

Verified patient information to correctly dispense medications. Prepared packaging and labels for prescriptions, verifying accuracy of dosage and quantity. Supported pharmacists with day-to-day activities and handled inventory stick by checking delivery quantities and reviewing medication expirations.

Complied with food safety and food hygiene regulations to safeguard public health. Handled high pressure situations gracefully, managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a calm demeanour. Communicated clearly with kitchen staff about guests needs and dietary restrictions, ensuring accurate orders were prepared prior to serving dishes to guests.
