I am excited about the opportunity to lead and mentor future leaders and caregivers who will make a significant impact in aged care and disability services. My passion for advancing my career as a trainer and assessor is fueled by my extensive experience in the field.

I am committed to applying my comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience to provide the learning opportunities to allow highest quality patient-centred care from the caregivers.

My holistic understanding of patient needs has been developed through diverse work environments, including general practice, aged care, and dental care. These experiences have significantly enhanced my clinical decision-making skills and fostered a habit of frequent self-reflection while working with various caregivers in the aged care settings.

- Fluent in both Korean and English language

I have the ability to communicate with patients and students who are from Korea that require appropriate medical translation to have accurate communication. I understand their challenge when living with language barrier and I want to be their supporter who they can rely on. Additionally, fluency in English will guarantee precise communication between staff members and medical physicians.

- Good communication skills

Through the opportunities to experience various and diverse communication with people from different cultural background, I have developed the cultural awareness and sensitivity. This will benefit patients living in multicultural environment as I have established the boundary that I need to ensure. This will enable myself to embrace all patients to be culturally safe and enhance their needs to be met within the facility. Additionally, I have strong interpersonal skills that I work with and through people always. I do not hesitate to ask questions for clarifications and lead with confidence where my ability is needed the most.

Always punctuate to work, as it is a promise between patients and the team member with strong planning skills that ensures precise progress in patients and staff members. This will reduce any adverse outcome.

- Teamwork

Understanding that nursing requires good teamwork and attitude, it is one of my advantage to work thoroughly with staff members as well as patients and their family members. I always listen to what other staff members are suggesting and I value the voice of patients. I treat each members and patients with respect and dignity to maximise the outcome of teamwork within the environment.

- Positive outlook and always look to encourage others in their strengths

Always try to be optimistic in every situation and look for positiveness that can encourage staff members as well as patients for better outcome. I consider each resident as a whole individual person who lived their best life and made remarkable success, not just a patient. Therefore, I will always look into their strengths making their self-esteem be on the positive and optimistic zone.
