Work History

Operations Manager

Mann Consolidating Industries
South Geelong, VIC
07.2024 - Current

Moving forward with my career, I knew I was suited to be a leader. Harry saw those qualities in me and offered me an operations management role to oversee builds and manage his team.

At Mann, our scope of work varied from carpentry work, such as decks, fences, small renovations, and roofing, to 3-4 townhouse building developments.

My roll there entailed

  • Managing client expectations for progress and deadlines
  • Inspect completed work by contractors before authorizing payment of invoices
  • Communicating and managing all trades to ensure seamless completion of works
  • Overseeing and approving employee timecards
  • On the tools the entire time to gel in and fill spots to ensure deadlines were met

Office Administrative Assistant

Banksia Bookkeeping
LEOPOLD, VIC
07.2023 - 12.2024

An offer arose for a 10 hour per week casual admin assistant role at Banksia Bookkeeping, whilst still working throughout the week i jumped at the chance to grow my admin skills as it wasn't something i was too familiar in.

It allowed me to grow my client and time management skills and get a good basis of the other side of business.

Some tasks I was delegated are listed below.

  • Liaised with clients and the ATO to obtain information required via email and phone.
  • Computerized and manual filing of client documents.
  • Computerized and manual diary notes.
  • Ensure strict deadlines were met.
  • Assisted with all essential admin tasks as directed and required

Plumber

Pitham Constructions
Melbourne, VIC
10.2023 - 05.2024
  • Moving to work for Danny at Pitham was my first time experiencing DIDO work, he had picked up the insurance work for the flooded Discovery park in Nagambie. That job we got to do everything from demolition to fit off. Working in a team a lot of the time and Some days just an apprentice and I. Once we had finished up there I continued to subcontract to him to current date focusing on plumbing and renovation but also anything else that may have popped up.

Pipe Layer/ Pipeline Foreman

Wellam Constructions Pty Ltd
South Geelong, VIC
04.2021 - 10.2023

Being a large scale Civil Development company I learnt quite a bit and realized I enjoyed working on a bigger scale

My role here started with some all round labour but quickly advanced into the pipelaying area due to my plumbing knowledge and background. My scope of work ranged from but not limited to

  • - Stormwater drainage
  • - Deep excavation sewer
  • - Poly and rubber joint watermain
  • - Use of Grade lasers and a small knowledge with Trimble surveying equipment
  • - Leading a small team to ensure program is met

I advanced to the title of pipeline foreman, it taught me a lot about managing a team to meet specific deadlines and to handle certain employees as sometimes could be a tough process being a fair bit younger. I quite enjoyed stepping up and taking as much responsibility as possible to try continuing to climb to higher positions.

Plumber

Plumbing Logistics Pty Ltd
Bannockburn, VIC
11.2016 - 02.2021

  • - Gas and water mains
  • - Fire services (hydrants)
  • - V & Mitre drains
  • - Sewer Stormwater (Sealed systems, Graded domestic, Pits, Crossovers)
  • We not only stuck to plumbing, our boss would take on most types of work which has helped educate me in a lot of other trades and how they operate.
