

Skilled in stock work with my 2 work dogs, erection of new modern style fencing, welding and fabrication and most station and farm duties with a proven track record in animal husbandry and machinery maintenance, I have significantly improved operational efficiency. Demonstrating strong project management and troubleshooting abilities, I excel in fast-paced environments, ensuring both livestock welfare and equipment reliability.
A competent station hand to complete tasks but not limited to:
• To preform general livestock husbandry tasks.
• To muster livestock with a motorcycle in a safe, low stress effective manner.
• To preform general maintenance and report any major repairs needed.
• To assist under supervision in the maintenance and installation of all essential farm infrastructure.
• To operate machinery and vehicles (within capacity).
• To control weeds and pests with chemicals.
A competent farm hand to complete activities but not limited to the list below:
STOCK MANAGEMENT:
• Mustering, general yard work, drenching, backlining, marking, shearing, crutching, routine stock checking, identifying and treating sick animals in conjunction with qualified experts.
• Working with dogs to complete some of these tasks.
CROPPING:
• Preparation of paddocks for sowing, sowing, spraying, harvesting and delivery of grains to storage areas.
• Working with external experts such as agronomists.
• Hay Making - working as required in the Lazi-Hay factory.
MACHINERY:
• To become proficient in the use of machinery that is currently on the property and future acquisitions. This includes but not limited too; • Tractors, Telehandler, Backhoe, Rigid and Semi trucks, Air Seeder, Grouper, Augers,
Spray Rigs and the Lazi-Hay factory. • Using the appropriate vehicle required to safely complete a task. This includes a range of 4
and 2 wheel drive vehicles, quad, motorbike and side by side.
• General maintenance of vehicles and machinery where required.
GENERAL ACTIVITIES:
• Welding and fabrication of projects like end assembly’s and strainers, gates, trailers or whatever projects arise in need of welding.
• Repairing and replacing fences.
• Cutting of wood using an axe, chain saw or log splitter.
• The slaughter and break down of animals for human consumption.
• Mowing and maintenance of house yards as required.
• Management of pests such as, foxes, rabbits and kangaroos.
• Becoming confident with horses and horse management
A station hand with job roles but not limited to:
• Fixing and replacing fences (mainly 4line barb).
• Routine bore water checks for cattle.
• Maintenance and repair of farm vehicles and machinery, also mustering bikes (2wheelers).
• Stock supplementation with salt lick and blocks when stock fall below desired condition.
• Welding and fabrication in end assembly’s, drafters, cattle yards, gates and many more projects that require welding and an open mind.
