
Cripps Family Fish Farm – Food Service Experience
Worked at Cripps Family Fish Farm assisting with food preparation, operating fryers, and managing food van operations. Took responsibility for coordinating tasks, managing workflow, and ensuring efficient service during busy periods. Developed strong teamwork and communication skills, solved operational challenges on the fly, and provided high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Worked with Expert Extensions for a year, gaining hands-on experience using a variety of tools and equipment under the supervision of experienced tradespeople. While I hold a White Card, I have not formally started an apprenticeship, though my practical skills and knowledge are equivalent to those of a second-year apprentice. Confident in following instructions, working safely, and completing tasks efficiently.
Basketball Coach – Project Academy
Coached under-14 boys and under-10 girls teams, providing guidance, support, and skill development for young athletes. Managed high-pressure situations during tournaments, maintaining focus and composure while delivering strategic advice. Took responsibility for team performance, fostering teamwork, leadership, and resilience among players.
Work Placement – Mount Eliza Primary School
Assisted in a Grade 5 classroom and the Physical Education department, supporting teachers with lesson delivery and student engagement. Applied prior experience working with children to assist with classroom management, activities, and learning support, developing strong communication, teamwork, and instructional skills.
Swim Instructor – Aquastar Swim School
Instructed swim classes for children aged 3 to 14, including squad swimmers, ensuring safety through Water Safety lessons. Developed individualised lesson plans, monitored progress, and provided constructive feedback to students and parents.
