  • I find fulfilment in giving back to other students, it is a rewarding feeling

Soccer – 2005-2019, NPL U/18s champion 2018 & 2019 – NE Metro Stars

  • I have played team sports for most of my life, I love the competition and comradery when playing soccer.
  • Playing in a team has made me learn how to cooperate with a variety of individuals.
  • I have aspirations next year to play soccer once again, I miss the sport and want to test myself.

Interests

Weight Training

I have always been interested in weight training and physical activity in general. I began resistance training at a gym in Year 9 when I was 14 years old. I have always been drawn to the gym due my passion for health and fitness which was borne at a young age. I enjoy the challenge the gym offers me and the tangible progression I get in return. I see myself always going to the gym until the point I physically no longer can.

Running

I have recently taken an interest into running, I have begun training for my first event which will be the city to bay 12km race. I have wanted to get into running recently, but injuries and hiccups along the way have prevented me from starting. Learning about load management at university has allowed me to properly programme my own training and finally begin running. I plan to continue running along with weight training in the future, my goal is to maintain size whilst running long distances, a difficult task but that is my aim!
