• Since November 2022, I have been working at the hair studio Wahroonga as a Salon Assistant. Working at this hairdresser has allowed me to build effective customer communication skills, allowing me to work well under high pressure situations in busy work times
• My role as an assistant is to:
• Shampoo, condition, and rinse guests' hair using salon-exclusive products.
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and properly sanitized.
• Talk and communicate with each customer in a friendly manner.
• Take care of payments/bookings, and general organisation of products within the salon.

I worked at the Living Room Cafe from March to July 2023. I served as a dedicated waitress and collaborative team member to ensure customers had the best possible experience. I learnt many valuable skills while working here, these included:

• Remaining calm when dealing with difficult customers or during busy shifts.
• Trained new waitstaff on proper food handling, customer service and safety procedures.
• Provided recommendations on menu items and upsold food and drinks to increase sales.
• Maintained thorough menu knowledge to sufficiently answer questions regarding menu item sourcing, ingredients and cooking methods.
• Kept server areas clean and stocked to increase efficiency while working tables.
• Used cash registers and credit card machines to cash out customers.
• Greeted new customers, discussed specials, and took drink orders.

In 2021 from January to May I worked at a local restaurant in Gordon called Grill @ Gordon. In the brief time of working here I gained many skills of how to deal and react in specific circumstances. It allowed me to gain a deeper work ethic and customer service skills which were originally formed from my time at McDonald's, Chatswood. My role as a waitress was to bring out and clean up food, ensure customers were satisfied with their meals, taking care of the customers bill, monitoring uber eats orders etc.

While working at McDonald's, my main duties were:

• Assisting customers by providing exceptional customer service on the Front Counter, while also preparing drinks, food and deserts.
• Friendly greetings and listening to customer requests
• Assisting and taking orders
• processing payments
• Ensuring the customer has a great overall experience with their order.

I performed leaflet drops in the local area for several months last year. This required me to self-organise and commit to delivering the leaflets and brochures on a weekly basis, demonstrating my work ethic and that I am a dependable worker.
