Management of Kalgoorlie Health Campus after hours. First point of contact for staff, patients/families/visitors and local community resources (WAPOL/DFES/SJA).
Management and escalation (WACHS Ops Hub & local executive on-call) of internal and external issues (including Code Yellow & Code Brown) affecting Kalgoorlie Health Campus.
Organisation and allocation of adequate staffing levels (Medical/Nursing/PCA) to wards across Kalgoorlie Health Campus ie replacement of staff due to sick calls/unplanned leave.
Bed allocation of local patients via ED and Outpatient departments.
Bed allocation of patients from peripheral sites and tertiary centres (in collaboration with WACHSlink/APTC/RFDS) .
Discharge planning of patients to home or local facilities ie Nursing Home or Group Homes.
Management of accommodation for Nursing, Medical and Allied Health Staff. Including hospital owned accommodation and local hotels/motel/airBNB.
Management of patient and staff travel bookings including flights, train and ambulance transfers.
Management of hospital fleet vehicles and hire cars from local companies.
Supply of stores/stock to Hospital wards.
Supply of Pharmacy items to Hospital Wards.
Shift Coordination of the Emergency department (2 Resuscitation beds, 9 acute beds, 4 sub acute beds, 1 psychiatric bed, 1 isolation bed), including Adult and Paediatric presentations.
