  • Monitor wait times, appropriate booking of patient per urgency and long wait complex patients. Ensuring patients are appropriately booked for their surgery and are based on individual clinical needs in collaboration with clinical teams.
  • Ensure patient readiness and minimize breaches, multiple bookings and cancellations.
  • Ensuring elective surgical theatre lists are appropriately booked within the appropriate time frame while also managing emergency surgery in a timely fashion, while ensuring empty or vacant theatre allocation are reallocated accordingly and appropriately.

  • Ensure accurate, timely and compliant data entry eg use of IPM and eMR.
  • Prepare and analysis waitlist performance reports, including reporting breached patients, cancellation and multiple bookings. And escalate risks, capacity and issues to senior manager.
