I am a dedicated, highly motivated post-grad Enrolled Nurse as well as a student nurse in JCU, with a strong academic foundation and hands-on clinical experience. I have had 4 clinical placements; the first one was a 3 week placement in The Good Shepherd Home, where I now work as an AIN there, a week placement in Surgical 1 ward in TUH, and another 4 week placement at the Palliative Care Ward in TUH. My most recent placement was a 3 week placement in Medical Ward 2 for 3 weeks in TUH. The clinical placements have helped me gain numerous skills and allowed me valuable hands-on experience as a student nurse that I will continue to use in my career. I can demonstrate proficiency in medication administration, patient assessment, and collaborative care planning. I am very committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
My experience as an Assistant in nursing has allowed me to develop strong interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration with residents, families, and fellow healthcare professionals. I am dedicated to providing person-centred care and contributing to the overall well-being of residents within the nursing home setting
