My work within this role at Townsville Basketball included working within a high- paced team environment whilst maintaining a professional and responsible manner. My role required me to work majority of each shift autonomously which provided me the opportunity to make decisions and handle complaints and feedback which I excelled with and enjoyed.

Key Duties:

• Opened and closed the venue without supervision
• Preparation and service of food for the day to day running of the venue and corporate events - Managed and reported stock levels
• Managing, supervising, and training of staff
• Handling of monies including opening and balancing register
• When required assisted in shifts outside my rostered hours
• Served food and beverages promptly with focused attention to customer needs.

I worked within this fast-paced environment which provided me the opportunity to show case my skills in effective time management, excellent listening skills and my mature attitude in this demanding role. My excellent decision making and communication skills allowed me to work harmoniously within this team to ensure a professional delivery of service to patrons.

• Provided Customer Service to patrons of the general public Food and Drinks Service
