Amelia Nelson

I'm a motivated, friendly, and confident 18-year-old with a strong work ethic. One of my proudest achievements is getting my first job at Edithvale General Store, In the store/cafe I learned how to serve customers and make them feel welcome and meet their needs, take orders, prepare food and beverages, and train new juniors. In the store I learned how to stock shelves, organise merchandise, and assist customers with their enquiries and purchases. I learned a lot about the products in the store, which allowed me to guide customers and give them useful information. My attention to detail helps in handling the stock as well as ensuring that the store is well-kept and organised. That showcased my strength of initiative and showed I am a valued team member that works well with other and participate in collaborative communication. I was also able to bounce back and forth between the store and the cafe, demonstrating my ability to adapt to a fast-paced atmosphere and become an asset to both environments to Edithvale General Store. I have a strong passion for netball, i would love to see how it goes in the future. I play for Seaford Footy Netball Club for D grade, I am also an Assistant coach for under 17's to work with different players to develop skills and strength.
