Outcome: Improved accuracy of kit stocktake, expiration tracking and overspending on kit orders across 42 studies over a 6-month self-audit period.

  • Laboratory and clinic management, including equipment calibration, consumable ordering and central laboratory kit preparation.
  • eCRF and source document management, including PICF and radiographic uploads, query resolution and requisition form submission.
  • Central laboratory processing and sample preparation across phase I-III trials, including blood, urine, faeces, and sputum for downstream analysis.
  • 3rd-party vendor collaboration for updating site documentation and facilitating patient appointments through MS-Office and CTMS software.

Example project: Collaboratively designed, executed and optimized a research pipeline with both patient-derived tumor samples and in-vivo models of tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) resistance, to investigate sensitivity mechanisms in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Outcome: Successfully identified a potential novel relationship between stress granule biology and developed resistance mechanisms in TKI-resistant NSCLC for further investigation.

Additional Information:

  • Pioneered implementation of novel software and pipelines for analysis of compiled proteomic data.
  • Contributing author through literature review for the mechanism of action for 5-fluorouracil in the treatment of colorectal cancer for publication (Br J Cancer, 2024)
  • Supervised high-school student internships on GLP, GCP and experimental design over a two week period.
  • Maintained laboratory-wide stocktaking, consumable ordering, data administration and WHS compliance.
