General

  • Greet new customers, check if they have a reservation and escort them to their seats.
  • Make a good first impression by staying smiley and professional while having an uplifted and engaging attitude.

  • Constantly prioritize team work. Always ask for help from waiters, bussers and other colleagues to speed up service. I needed, take the initiative to give commands or recommendations to colleagues while respecting their assigned roles/tasks.
  • Always brief with the Chef at the beginning of the shift to obtain updates on unavailable dishes, menu changes, review daily specials and obtain information regarding the table d'hôte.
  • Send clear and complete order bills to kitchen staff to ensure the accuracy of the order. Verbally confirm if needed : for food allergies or special demands.
