  • Employed from 2005 - 2007 in the Outpatients Medical area of Port Phillip Prison where I liaised with medical staff to facilitate required medical appointments for inmates in a safe and ordered fashion, maintaining separation of Mainstream, Protection and Management inmates.
  • Employed in the Induction Unit of Port Phillip Prison from 2007 - 2008 where I inducted new inmates to prison procedures, while maintaining order and control with inmate with varied needs and social skills.
  • Employed in Youth Unit of Port Phillip Prison from 2008 - 2012 where I facilitated the safe housing of offenders between the ages of 17 and 25. In this time my role was to model positive behaviors and attitudes, whilst encouraging young inmates to engage with Positive Behavior Programs, Education and Work.
  • Employed in a Protection Unit of Port Phillip Prison from 2012 - 2014 where I facilitated the safe housing of inmates with safety concerns, due to crime or enemies. One role was to facilitate the safe internal transport to medical appointments and visits.
  • Employed in the Prison Intelligence Unit from 2014 - 2016 where I was required to find information regarding the safety and security of the Prison using the mail system, the internal phone system and human sources. During this time my role was to set up crime scenes and liaise with Police during and post major incidents. I was required to communicate with external parties and remain confidential with the information received.
  • Employed in the Admissions area of Port Phillip Prison from 2016 - 2020 where I was involved in inducting new inmate to the prison and interviewing them in order to best facilitate their needs and requirements.
  • Employed in the Records Office of Port Phillip Prison from 2020 - 2022 where I assisted with the keeping of the warrants of all inmates located in Port Phillip Prison. I also assisted with the development of movement sheets the informed the prison of the inmates required to attend court and telecourt. I also assisted in the development of bail documents at the request of the courts.
  • 2022 - Present - Employed in a Mainstream Accommodation Unit at Port Phillip Prison where I am require to assist inmates in developing a Local Plan of how they are to positively spend their time during their sentence, liaising with TAFE teachers and Programs facilitators in order to assist the inmates on my case load.
