I am currently a Senior Educational leader at Communities@work. I have worked within this organization for 11 years. I started as an educator and have worked my way up to a Senior educational leader.

I currently manage five Out of school hours care services (Ngunnawal primary, Amaroo Primary, Palmerston Primary & Palmerston Pre, Fadden Primary, Emmaus Primary).

I have supported communities@work in many sectors of their organization like; Lifestyle services (disability), transport, inclusion support officer, food pantry and promoting communities@work at weekend events, while also obtaining my position as an Senior educational leader.

I started as a casual educator for communities@work in the OSHC sector, I have since worked my way to becoming a senior educational leader and managing five service. As a senior Educational leader I;

  • Results-driven, professional, highly experienced in OSHC environments. Natural leader and operational problem-solver successful at maintaining budgets, overseeing staff and optimizing program operations. Effectively leverage interpersonal communication skills to develop long-lasting relationships.
  • I am responsive to clients needs, manages client expectations and provide professional development / mentoring to staff to ensure quality is met.
  • Have a sound knowledge of the Law & regulations, policy and producers, My time our place, Early years learning framework, National quality framework, Behavior support plans, Inclusion support plans/ partnership with the inclusion support agency, and communities@work mission, vision and values.
  • Attend regular meetings with management, program coordinators, inclusion support officers, school teachers / principals, families, external organization like; ACT together, Bernardo's, inclusion support, etc

  • Conducted research to identify best practices for program implementation.
  • Created training modules for new employees joining the organization's programs.

-I run a professional and quality service where we are responsive to clients needs, manages client expectations and provide a professional service to all clients.

- Manage two service which cater for over 100 children and have two separate teams of 12 educators. Ensure work health safety / minimizing hazards to ensure the safety of all stakeholders.

- Upholding a quality service by developing risk assessments, behavior support plans, fortnightly programs, learning cycles, Risk minimization and communication plans, and more.

-Ensuring both my services are fully compliant. Completing internal audits, assessment and rating and constantly improving service quality.
