  • Our core duties were to assess claims received from General Practitioners and Allied Practitioners utilizing rigorous assessing program and skill. On completion of unflagged/ no errors assessed claims are then paid to the provider and duplicate statements are system generated and sent out as well
  • A large part of my duties was assessing complex claims from checking the doctors provider numbers, speciality codes, banking details, then checking the veterans unique number and his accepted disabilities if they match up with what the doctor has claimed the we pay the claim. not all veterans have the same entitlements hence the importance of assessing each claim thoroughly.
  • Some complex claims need further investigation by checking the patients history, some claims then have to be further escalated to helpdesk for clarification.
  • Maintained accurate records and full compliance with government regulations and agency guidelines.
  • Streamlined service processes from paper based to digitization and now online services to increase efficiency and improve customer experience.
