I was born in Perth, Western Australia on 30th December 1977. I completed Year 11 in 1994 and began working as a labourer in 1995. I did various labouring jobs until 2000 when I joined the Australian Army as an infantryman.
I served from 2000- 2004 which included a tour of East Timor in 2002 and an exercise with American soldiers in Hawaii in September 2001.
After leaving the Army, I worked on above ground mines as a driller's offsider in Roxby Downs in South Australia and Boddington, Western Australia. I also worked again as a labourer for Keytown Constructions during the period up until January 2009.
In June 2009, I joined the WA Police and had my first country stint in Newman from May 2010- 2012. I was then temporarily promoted to Brevet Sergeant in Balgo Aboriginal community for a period of 15 months before transferring to Leonora where I obtained the rank of First Class Constable. In 2015, I was posted to Augusta for a further two years before transferring to Albany where I obtained the rank of Senior Constable.
In August 2020, I joined the Department of Justice where I have served as a Prison Officer at Albany and currently Hakea Prisons.
