- As a disability support worker my role is to provide care for those under an NDIS or Age Care plan. Whether that be daily assistance with personal hygiene, respite and overnight active care, meal preparation, mobility, general home cleaning and/or supervision
- Keeping accurate records of participants progress notes and all relevant documentation.
- Supports also include community access such as assisting a participant to get to an appointment, assistance with social activities, assisting looking for employment or training opportunities to enrich their lives and reach personal goals.
- Improving participant independence by developing personalized support plans tailored to individual needs and goals.
