• Check vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues, maintaining logs of working hours, monitoring the vehicle's performance, and recording any incidents.
• Perform multi-drop deliveries in a refrigerated HR truck, ensuring temperatures stay at an optimal level and customers receive their order in a timely manner.

From beginning as an apprentice, I worked my way up to leading hand, to running my own business with 3-4 employees at a time, before transitioning into a role as a maintenance technician and supervisor/project manager, working for one of the largest re-roofing companies in Victoria.

Initially, I ran a small area with two maintenance men on staff and another supervisor doing other areas. But as they left for a variety of reasons, I assumed all four roles and successfully kept jobs on track and on time. My role involved liasing with building managers from Metricon, Arden and Porter Davis to ensure jobs were running on time, as well as sub-contracting gangs of roof tilers to get roofs covered in the small window of time we were given.

My role also included safety checks of all job sites with inspection of safety rails and other fall protection systems.
