Summary

I am experienced in the mental health field and have both professional and lived experience as a carer to a consumer. I have worked with diverse clients and families facing unique diagnoses. I have a deep understanding of services as a mental health professional and mother to a son with mental health diagnosis. I am passionate about improving support for carers like myself. I have personal experience navigating the challenges of supporting a loved one's illness. I have a strong empathy for families and carers in similar situations and have worked in a number of support roles .I believe strongly that as Carers we need to care for ourselves first and foremost to be able to care for others. After many years of living in Melbourne we have made the decision to move regionally.

I am happily married with four grown children and two Labradors.
