This was an incredible company and product, and it was great to be back in a workplace, working in a creative space again. Unfortunately, shortly after starting this position, my partner required major surgery. I became a full time carer which meant I had to leave this amazing company. Once my partner was able to return to work, I was presented with an opportunity to pursue a career down the medical path that aligns with the same values as my work in rescue.

This position was to broaden my exposure to different work environments, however I missed media and when the opportunity arose for me to take a position with content creation and marketing I felt it important to return to an industry that I had passion for.

  • Coordinate and manage communication between cast, crew and external resources.
  • Provide direction to cast and crew during the production of television shows.

This position honed many of my professional skills and I loved this job. I left this role due to relocating to be with my partner, the travel was over two hours each way, which made the position too difficult to maintain and lead me to finding work outside of the media industry.

  • Worked in the following roles: Director, Video Editor, Director’s Assistant, Vision Switcher, Ingest Operator, EVS Operator
