I am a 19 year old law student seeking a junior legal role where I can develop practical legal skills and gain exposure to professional practice. Through experience in client-facing roles and volunteer work, I have developed written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work reliably under supervision. I am organised, adaptable, and comfortable taking responsibility for administrative and support tasks, and I am keen to learn from practitioners in a professional legal environment.
I worked across bar, gaming, and restaurant areas at Tradies, including duties as a Responsible Gambling Officer (RGO). I provided customer service on the gaming floor, bar, and in dining areas, served alcohol in accordance with RSA requirements, assisted with minor gaming machine issues, and supported food and beverage service. I regularly interacted with patrons, and completed multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining compliance with club policies and regulatory obligations.
I packed groceries carefully with attention to detail, processed cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately, and provided friendly, efficient customer service while maintaining a clean and organised checkout area.
I co-founded and ran a small lawn mowing and property maintenance business alongside full-time study, working with over 20 regular clients. I handled client communication, scheduling, and day-to-day operations, including resolving issues and managing expectations. This role helped me develop clear communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, as well as a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
