Summary

A great team player with an incredibly strong work ethic, very passionate about working in the disability sector and making a difference to the lives of those who live with a disability. I strive to support and empower our clients so they can take control of their lives with a person centered approach.

I have completed certificate 4 in disability, hold a current WWCC, full Victorian drivers license and NDIS screening check. I have training in administering emergency Midazolam for clients with epilepsy, safe administration of medications, safe operations of a hoist and a current first aid and CPR certificate. I carry 3 and a half years experience working as a disability support worker and recently I’ve stepped up into a higher roll as a residential site supervisor for a local respite facility within the Colac Otway Region. Taking on this role has given me wider insight of what it takes to provide a high quality service not only to our clients and their families but also supporting our staff in providing the best support possible so clients can achieve their goals within the organisations support plans.

Over the past 3 and a half years I have had the opportunity to participate in a wide range of online and work based training programs to widen my knowledge and skills to best support clients of all complexities, I feel everything I have learnt through training and my experience will be of great benefit to my future employer.
