I am a highly driven, self-motivated, and compassionate individual displayed through my professional and academic achievements. My desire to advocate for human rights and social justice has attracted me to the public sector and prompted my decision to attain my Master of Social Work. Previously working in Account Management in global media agencies post completion of my Undergraduate degree I decided that despite having extensive experience in negotiation, pitching and project management I was drawn to work in a more direct capacity with vulnerable populations and no longer in the corporate sector instead due to my desire to make a difference to the social wellbeing of others. My strong personal value base is driven my feminist ideals and through course work and research projects have developed a deep insight into the power of adopting an intersectional lens towards systemic issues.
