Additional Information

I was brought up in “Out of Home Care” from age 6, with long term foster carers from age 9. Despite having limited education when entering long term care, I was able to secure a full time apprenticeship. I was challenged to complete the apprenticeship when the industry changed ½ way through. When the building industry had recovered, I secured a new employer to complete. I enjoy spending time with my new brothers, also in long term foster care, and sometimes requests by my former foster parent to mentor a 13 year old boy to avoid him getting into trouble with the authorities.

Overview Of Work Skills

Experienced Bricklayer - I got my trade ticket in June 2015, Bricklaying and Blocking Experienced Garden landscaper - I have undertaken extensive landscaping work as part of my bricklaying and block laying apprenticeship. Industry recognized White Card - Occupational Health and Safety Trained Experienced with using computers including using Microsoft Office programmers such as Word and Excel. Good keyboard skills. Good time management skills including ability to prioritise tasks as well as being able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Works well with others in a team environment with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
