• Provide clinical education, preceptorship, clinical supervision, mandatory skills assessment, and competency assessment processes for nurses.

- Promote and support the clinical teaching of nurses within the workplace utilising adult learning principles and following practice standards and policies.

- Provide and/or facilitate clinical education, reflective practice, preceptorship, clinical supervision, mandatory skills assessment, and competency assessment for nurses working in AMHU.

Participate in risk management, quality improvement, nursing practice review, clinical audit, and clinical research activities.s.

• In collaboration with the Manager Residential Care Services and Care Coordinator, effectively manage staff and volunteers involved in services that supports residents daily living
• Provide support and assistance to maintain high standard services to residents by reviewing current methodologies, identifying, and implementing strategies for Better practice service provision
• Ensure professional communication by positively interacting with the staff, members of health team, residents, and their representatives
• In the absence of the Manager, Care Coordinator and Clinical Nurse be responsible for continuous service provision at the facility and respond to any emergencies
• Use of Patient Centred Software and Best med for documentation and medication management
• Determined specific needs and provided most appropriate level of services for patient well-being
• Documented residents’ behaviour in terms of mental status, sleeping and eating patterns in medical record books
