I recently graduated from high school and I'm currently pursuing casual employment. Under my former employer, I was a hospitality worker in the fast-food industry which forced me to develop my organisation and communication skills as well as my time management abilities. In general, my greatest strengths are my attention to detail and my strong work ethic, whenever I'm given a task I always complete it to the best of my ability. I love learning new things and applying that knowledge to unfamiliar problems or scenarios. I aspire to be an efficient, dependable, and organised worker.
Painting
Since I was little I've always been passionate about making art and developing my skills and techniques. For me, painting is a way to relax and put my mind at ease as it forces me to focus on whats in front of me. There's also a strong sense of fulfillment and satisfaction when a work has been complete with all the details and intricacies fully fleshed out.
Sports
Throughout my childhood I participated extensively in a range of sports including cricket, AFL, and skateboarding which have all added to my range of skills. Cricket taught me patience, AFL taught me team work, and skateboarding has taught me perseverance. Additionally, there were a number of AFL and cricket teams which I captained or co-captained which exercised my leadership skills.
Science
During my senior years of high school I developed a strong passion for science which has continuously expanded my understanding and appreciation for the world. Science enables us to break down seemingly random scenarios into predictable and measurable principles and processes. Applying this perspective within the classroom evoked a sense of satisfaction and has helped me develop my problem solving abilities. I plan on continuing my studies of science in university.
