I have been at Tilly's Gillieston Heights for nearly 3 years- being a lead educator and programmer during this whole period. I have worked amongst both the toddler room and nursery- providing care for children 6 weeks of age onwards.

I:

• Plan age-appropriate activities that align with early childhood development goals.
• Monitor child progress and document observations for planning and family updates.
• Supervise educator routines, supporting consistent practice across care and learning sessions.
• Build positive relationships with families, sharing child development insights and routines.
• Lead daily room operations, ensuring safe, engaging learning environments for children.
• Mentor team members on behaviour guidance, supervision, and classroom expectations.
• Maintain compliance with childcare policies, hygiene standards, and safety procedures.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest educational research and best practices, translating findings into actionable improvements for the classroom.
• Serve as a mentor for new teachers, sharing best practices and providing guidance on classroom management techniques.

I was at this Centre for four years, completing my Certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood education and care. I provided relief support for Family co-ordinator and learnt Administration practices throughout my time. I also took on a leadership role in a toddler room, which i have was in for just under two years.
