I am thrilled to be a part of the Graduate Nurse Program as an upcoming graduate of the University of New England student who is committed and dedicated. My dream job would be at a health facility in NSW, where I could use my clinical expertise to provide excellent, patient-centered care. Throughout my clinical rotations at various NSW health facilities, I have developed a strong commitment to evidence-based practice. This has enabled me to deliver high-quality care and achieve better patient outcomes. My customer service experience has sharpened my communication skills, allowing me to connect respectfully and inclusively with culturally diverse patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams. I believe in holistic healthcare and provide thorough and personalized treatment to each patient. As an enthusiastic learner, I am looking forward to expanding my clinical skills and knowledge, ensuring that the care I provide is always backed by the latest evidence-based research and in line with national standards. I am adaptable, quick to learn, and eager to contribute my expertise while upholding the values of NSW Health. John Hunter Hospital, Orthopaedic Ward, 160 hours (06/05/24 - 02/06/24)

Performed and documented care plans, nursing assessments, and progress notes, utilizing the ISBAR handover format. 

Performed aseptic technique to perform orthopaedic wound care including vacuum dressing, wound packing and monitored dressing integrity and reported any changes to the healthcare team.

Monitoring patients using PCA and ensured integrity and infection control in PIC line dressings. 

Established and sustained professional relationships with members of the multidisciplinary team, patients, and their families.

Safely assessed, planned, implemented, and evaluated evidence-based holistic patient-centered nursing care.



Lismore Base Hospital, Medical Unit, 80 hours (03/10/23 - 15/10/23)
