Jakob Miller

During my time at BayWa r.e. Solar Systems I grew from being a marketing coordinator to the digital marketing manager for Australia and became the youngest marketing manager within the companies history globally. During this time as marketing manager I helped hire the new MC and train them in the role as well as take on the duty of the e-commerce manager for the Australian distribution company.

Whilst working for BayWa r.e. Solar Systems as the Australian Marketing Coordinator for the distribution team I was responsible for the vast majority of marketing tasks undertaken. These include social media channel rollout, website deployment and content auditing, email marketing campaigns and digital lead generation. I was also responsible for the traditional marketing activities including training events and customer loyalty programs as well as expo planning and exhibiting strategy.

During my time at the digital marketing agency 'Social Force', I was given the responsibility of content management for a number of key accounts. This opportunity to assist various businesses in different industries helped me to gain immense experience and knowledge on content creation, implementation and results tracking.

During my time working as a freelance digital marketer after graduating university I worked with a number of small businesses.

Whilst studying at university for three years I was working part time at a local Italian restaurant as their delivery driver on the weekends and the human dishwasher during the weekdays. This was a great opportunity to work in a fast pace environment with time management being a crucial skill tat was further developed during my time working at Vincenzo's.

I started my own local lawn moving service for the surrounding suburbs during my time in high school to start saving for my soon to come HELP debt from university.
