Summary

I have extensive nursing experience of over 30 years. This spans internationally and across both the adult and paediatric population. I have substantive experience in Senior Management and have held the position of After Hours Manager since 2006. During this time I have relieved many other senior positions giving me a broad range of experience in many aspects of Patient Flow. This experience has been invaluable. It has led to a successful development of problem solving and crisis management skills necessary to efficiently and effectively coordinate the hospital After Hours.

Experienced in managing patient flow within a healthcare setting, with specific responsibilities including coordination of tertiary discharges and patient transport. Demonstrated ability to oversee the functioning of a help center and home loan equipment, ensuring efficient discharge planning and staff management. Relieved in the Nurse Manager-After Hours role multiple times, contributing to the operational success of the After Hours Nurse manager team and emergency planning. Proficient in utilizing health roster systems, Microsoft applications, and patient flow management tools to enhance service delivery.
