Running is as much about the external as it is about the internal to me. Internally, running allows me to put one foot in front of the other and better myself in various aspects of everyday life. However, my own injuries alongside my engagement within local sporting communities and retail allowed me to realise how much more I enjoy being apart of other people's journeys, sometimes more than my own. I revel in supporting others in their journey; from their very first run, the behind-the-scenes training ticking boxes that some consider 'boring', all the way through to race day. Running has allowed me to meet the most inspiring people from all kinds of demographics and statuses, travel to spectacular destinations to compete and cheer on others and it has been a constant source of direction ever since the first run I took..
To me, running means connection - with myself, with my surroundings and with amazing people. It has only enhanced this short stint I've been granted on earth and I intend to extend that betterment to all I meet.
