Within my job at Edwards & Co, I deal with clients both buying and selling property. My day to day consists of taking phone calls, emails, scheduling appointments, organizing clientele and staff, leading meetings, and my most prominent task is home showings. Taking buyers through different properties, as well as doing everything behind the scenes to make sure each property listing is running smoothly - all the way up until the sale of it. I also am in charge of creating and dealing with contracts and financial documents of the purchase of properties. I ensure the lead agents within the business are running on schedule and know where they need to be and what they need to be doing.
I had various roles within my job at Remax. Some days I would be the receptionist, other days I would be a personal assistant to different real estate agents within the office. I was someone in the office that ensured everything went smoothly - if anyone needed help doing pretty much anything in the office, I was the one to get it done!
This included phone calls, emails, managing staff schedules and calendars, picking up food/coffee orders, managing the front reception desk and calls, running agents buyer and seller appointments for them if they needed, open homes/house showings, planning and organizing events within the office etc.
I took part in a year long intern program withing the UN at the University of Queensland in 2018. Within this program, I sat in different meetings and interviews, with different people from all over the world. Part of the program was to be involved in different mock UN talks, debates and conferences. This included writing and presenting talks on various subjects, interviewing real life public figures such as activist Malala Yousafzai. Completing research papers, compiling data, producing reports etc.
