Role involves flexible and adaptable work such as assisting with customer enquires and engaging with customers at checkout, as well as working in a strong team to stock shelves, maintain a safe work environment, and create a positive customer experience by putting them first.

• I learnt effective communication and assistance skills with customers, including providing them with helpful directions and support in their shopping experience, as well as addressing and resolving customer complaints in polite and professional manner.
• I demonstrated a strong work ethic by learning to work efficiently in both independent and team based settings.
• I learnt all required tasks quickly and learnt to take initiative in order to maximize performance.
• I worked scheduled shifts and remained available to work during coworker absences, holidays, and busy periods.
• Worked effectively in both stockroom and frontline operations to keep the store operating effectively, creating a great place for customers to shop.

Role included customer service such as taking orders, welcoming and greeting customers, and assuring a positive experience at the many events we catered for. As well, I participated in food preparation, making pizzas, cooking and cutting, and cleaning the work area.

Two weeks experience interacting, communicating, and teaching with secondary students based on self-directed lesson plans.

• One week placement assisting in creating and hosting a live radio broadcast, creating various aspects of media, and utilising different audio software.

• Casual work assisting in garden maintenance on a large private property. Duties included mowing, whipper-snippering, weeding and general odd jobs.
