I am an individual who thrives when working within a good environment. Through my different work experiences I have various skills and strong knowledge on what I can do to perform well within a career role.
Waitressing duties include attending to customers and ensuring satisfaction, serving food and drinks, clearing tables, polishing cutlery and setting up reservations.
Bartending duties include making and serving drinks, taking orders, collecting and washing glasses, changing kegs, and keeping the bar clean.
General duties include maintaining stock, opening and closing tasks, and keeping the venue to a good standard.
I was responsible for many things such as serving the food and drinks, clearing tables, washing dishes, opening and closing the venue, and making the smoothies and juices.
At this job I was highly responsible for making the famous smoothies, juices, protein shakes, coffees and acai bowls. I also assisted the chef with food prep, took orders at the till, and, of course, typical opening and closing duties.
I was responsible for greeting and sitting customers, making teas and coffees, and taking out food. Additionally, cleaning tasks like clearing tables and closing down the venue at the end of the day. I was also responsible for the tills money count at the end of the day and distributing the tips to all who worked that day.
This job required extreme fast paced work due to limited staff, but this allowed be to excel in my learning for my first hospitality job. I was responsible for taking order, prepping, making and serving food. Also, making coffees, juices and milkshakes. Further, after each shift I was required to deep clean the cafe myself and also count the till, which took up to two hours to ensure satisfaction.
This job was part of my school work experience where I spent a full working week with this company. Throughout the week I was busy organising legal files, attending court matters, providing personal advice to clients, and writing legal letters.
