I am a proven Adult Community Corrections Officer with a strong background in offender supervision and crisis management, adept at fostering safety and compliance within community settings. At the Department Of Justice, I enhanced public safety and reduced recidivism rates through strategic interventions and effective relationship building. Skilled in de-escalation techniques and mental health awareness, I excel in high-stress environments, ensuring optimal outcomes for all stakeholders.
I have a passion for working with people from all walks of life to develop and implement strategies based on an individual needs approach. I have studied in the fields of alcohol and substance use as well as mental health in which I have also lived experiences from myself and family members which has only served to further develop my passion and understanding within these fields.
I have consistently maintained exceptional administrative practices with case notes and reports which I have prepared for Magistrate, District and Surpreme Courts in Western Australia as well as Parole review board.
I pride myself on my rapport building and professionalism with colleagues, clients and stakeholders alike. As a proud Noongar woman my strongest drive has been to support my Aboriginal community at all levels possible.
