Rotation 2 (July 22nd - November 24th) of Graduate Program at Miles Hospital

• Worked as Team Leader in the aged care (Milton House), ensuring delegation of care in accordance with scope of practise and the individual competence in supervision of enrolled nurses and assistants in nursing.
• Provided emotional support to patients and families coping with acute illness or chronic conditions, fostering trustful relationships with them throughout their healthcare journey.
• Supervised nursing students during their clinical placements, providing constructive feedback to foster professional growth.
• Escorted and cared for patients to retrieval services and inter-hospital transfers with QAS.

• Triaged under supervision of RN.
• Conducted thorough patient assessments to identify changes in condition, promptly notifying physicians and initiating appropriate interventions when necessary in the acute ward and emergency department.

Metro South Rural and Remote Nurse Graduate Program - Worked Pool shifts from January-March 2024 at the Princess Alexandra Hospital before commencing rurally.

• Worked across the nursing pool, managing patients recovering from medical conditions, surgical procedures, and participating in rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional growth by attending continuing education courses regularly staying up-to-date on best practices in nursing.
