Completing the Bachelors of Nursing required supervising at-risk patients and assessing outcomes of interventions to eliminate suicide risk. Sudanese Australian Integrated Learning program (SAIL), SAIL is a volunteer, non-profit, secular organisation that provides free English support and community services to the Sudanese refugee community in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. Through my long-standing commitment to the SAIL program, I have been involved in Tutoring local Sudanese Children in my local and neighbouring communities. I also organised and oversaw activities for the local Sudanese communities as a member of the management team of SAIL away Camps – a biannual camp run by volunteers that aims to assist Sudanese migrants in the process of assimilation.
