• Accurately document all assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses in medical record
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Monitor patients in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for vital signs, level of consciousness, and pain levels as recovery from anesthesia
• Administrator prescribed medications for pain management and assess their effectiveness
• Provide discharge instructions to patients regarding postoperative care, signs of complications, and follow-up appointments

Emergency department

• Perform thorough assessment, including taking medical histories, conducting physical exams, and obtaining vital signs
• Provide immediate medical attention to stabilize patients, including administering medications, performing CPR, wound care, and other interventions
• Insert intravenous lines and administer medications and IV fluids
• Facilitate and perform diagnostic tests like blood tests, EKGs, X-rays
• Perform minor medical procedures such as suturing wounds, setting fractures and administering nebulizer treatment
• Provide specialized care for various emergencies, including cardiac, trauma, respiratory, and pediatric emergencies
• Work closely with multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists
• Coordinate transfer of patients to other departments or facilities when necessary, ensuring continuity of care
• Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions
