Summary

I am a linguaphile who is passionate about developing literacy and language skills in children and adults. I have been a teacher for the past 16 years, primarily teaching middle and upper primary students in a small country Catholic school, and also briefly in the Kimberley. I have taught French from K-Yr 8 and Italian in Yrs 7 and 8.

As a literacy consultant, I have enjoyed helping to build capacity in teachers to plan and deliver evidence-based, data-informed differentiated literacy instruction to their students. I have extensive experience in evaluating student literacy needs at individual, class and whole school level.
