Dedicated student with diverse professional experience working in teams in clinical and research settings. My current role at Hardwick Psychological Services has allowed me to build my interpersonal skills and immerse myself in the work in which I hope to pursue. In this role I have been fortunate enough to be involved in personal development opportunities, such as PTSD and ADHD information sessions with well-established psychiatrists. Supporting clinicians at the practice has given me insight into client care, ethical record management, and evidence-based practice. As the first point of contact for a diverse set of clients, I have gained clarity on my prospects and built my communication skills. The academic supervision I received as part of my research assistant experience gave me hands-on experience with the skills needed for a clinical Masters program.
For the past several years I have been casually looking after a special needs child, and previously looked after a child with ASD.
